Dublin, 22nd July 2019: Global payments provider Elavon has today announced the appointment of Paul Dunne as its new Country Manager for Ireland. Paul replaces Eric Horgan, who has taken up a European role as Commercial Product Leader at Elavon.
Paul joined Elavon in March 2018 as its Head of Sales & Partner Channels. He stepped into an Interim Country Manager role in January 2019, becoming a member of Elavon’s European Leadership Team and taking on responsibility for in-country management, including revenue generation, sales and channel partnerships.
Before joining Elavon, Paul spent over five years at Realex Payments as the Head of Sales for Ireland and following its acquisition by Global Payments, became the European Head of eCommerce Sales. Paul also served as Sales Director at boxPAY, a mobile payments company which processed payments in over 60 countries. He has been involved in successful start-up businesses across several industries.
Paul is a graduate of The Marketing Institute of Ireland and has a qualification in Leadership from the Irish Management Institute.
